Where today you find the Hotel Baia Azzurra there used to be fields once, which was delimited by a cane thicket along the lake side. In 1952 the grandfather Antonio decided to transform a part of it in a camping site. Then , in 1958/59, the Baia’s activity begins with some rooms and a small sitting room, run by the family Zorri till 1963. In the same year Gian Antonio, who had done his training by Casa Beust in Torbole, undertook the direction with his brother Luigi. The brothers run with love the Baia from 1963 to 1992, when Gian Antonio began working by the Hotel Benaco, an old hotel near Torbole’s harbour, which had been renovated before by the two brothers.
