The family Nodari has supported the adoption project created by the NGO Azione Mondo Unito www.azionemondounito.org.
All began after a travel to the still little known Burma, 10 years ago, as a plane to India let us land in a country special in its simplicity and poverty.
The first contacts and the big interest towards the people met incited us to action…so that we adopted 4 children, -now some of them have grown up-, also thanks to the help of the working team together with the customers; they are normally very curios and pleasantly involved.
When we began travelling regularly to Burma, our local friends proposed us quite unexpectedly to create a business there in order to make new jobs, considered the difficult economical and political situation.
This is the birth of the so called project "Gelato Sole" in Yangoon, consisting in a small production of Italian ice-cream, which still had not been established there.
We do not mean to explain you the details of our adventure, the difficulties, the people met, the situations and the luck which let us do something apparently impossible.
Today the ice-cream shop is working at full rate; the machinery comes directly from Italy and there are 6 people working after having learnt the Italian ice-cream art.
Although the project does not end here, we would like to create a bigger business offering jobs full of gratifications.
We want to thank all who helped us, without them nothing would be possible.
